It’s never too late to decorate your garden or the outdoor wall of your house with these pretty dragonflies by Hallmark Channel on YouTube! These cute dragonflies are even made out of recycled materials such as an old table leg and a few ceiling fan0 blades. You shouldn’t miss out on this brilliant project, try it out now!

Materials:

  • Table legs
  • Ceiling fan blades
  • Baling wire
  • Paint
  • Wood glue
  • Nail gun
  • Wire cutters
  • Drill
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Directions:

Step 1

The first thing that you have to work on is the table leg, remove any hardware that is still attached to the table leg, then set it aside, and use it later for the body of the dragonfly. Next, cut the smaller end of 2 ceiling fan blades to a 15-degree angle making sure that their edges will match perfectly when put together. Do this with another pair of fan blades, these will be the wings of the dragonfly.

Step 2

Apply wood glue on the upper part of the table leg, then place a pair of ceiling fan blades, and attach them to the leg using a nail gun. Paint the dragonfly and allow it to dry, then cut some wire and coil the end to make it look like dragonfly antennas. Drill small holes at the top of the table leg, then apply hot glue at the end of each wire antenna and insert them into the small holes. Screw a few nails to the wall for your dragonfly to sit the way you want it to.
