How to Make a DIY Fall Pie Garland Décor

If you haven’t started decorating your house for Fall or Thanksgiving yet, and can’t decide on which one to make, then check out this lovely garland decor idea by annelourayne on TikTok. This cute wall-hanging decoration is inspired and themed with your favorite pies, it’s super easy to make and a simple and neat project idea. Learn how with the help of the video tutorial below.
Materials:
- Craft felt, beige, orange, brown, white
- Pen or pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- String or rope
Directions:
Step 1
Draw a couple of triangle pie shapes on the orange and brown felt, then cut them out, and cut the beige into half-inch strips. Cut a few 1-inch round pieces from the white felt, then dab glue at the center of the white round piece, and fold it in half.
Step 2
Fold it again in half, then glue the edges together, and make a smaller version. Adhere the smaller piece inside the larger piece, then start hot gluing them to each other to form the whipped cream piece, and hot glue it at the center of the brown triangle pie felt.

Step 3
Next, hot glue the beige strips over the orange triangle pie felt to form a lattice pattern, then trim off the excess on the edges, and then hot glue a string horizontally onto the wide edge of the pie felt.
Step 4
Attach a strip on top of the string as shown in the video, then cut the excess, and leave a 2 to 3-inch space before adhering the next pie to the string. Keep adding the pies alternately until you’ve completed the garland.
