Materials:

  • Heart shape wreath frame
  • Burlap
  • Floral wire
  • Artificial flowers and leaves
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Directions:

Step 1

Cut and straighten the frayed edges of the burlap, then lay it underneath the frame, and place it so it follows the length of the frame. Push both upper and lower edges into the wire sandwiching the center wire in between the burlap, then pull it up matching the edges, and push a wire through the bottom of the burlap to secure it to the wreath. Twist and tie the wire around the crossbar of the wreath, then pull the burlap ends together up tightly, and then push them to the side every 2 inches.

Step 2

Hold the burlap in place and scrunch them nicely, then continue scrunching the rest of the burlap until you reach the end of the wreath or right where you started earlier, and secure the ends with the floral wire trimming off any frayed ends. Adjust the shape of the burlap so it looks more like a heart, then hot glue some flowers and leaves around, and hang your wreath.
