Christmas stockings are very adorable and I love hanging them for decorations around the house. Finding Christmas stockings are pretty easy because they are available in almost any store, especially during the holiday or Christmas season.

But, if you have a certain preference for the style or design, then making them from scratch might be the best approach. This simple sewing tutorial by ElenaMarieSewing on YouTube will show you how to make Christmas stockings without the seams showing!
Step 1
Print the template and cut the pieces out, then tape them together along the dotted line, and trace it on your fabrics cutting them out as well. Prepare the fur for the cuff as shown in the video tutorial and set it aside, then lay the outer fabric pieces together with their right sides facing, and pin the edges.
Step 2
Stitch around leaving the top open, then do the same for the lining, and make sure to leave another hole unstitched at the bottom part. Trim off the curves and edges to reduce the bulkiness, then turn off the outer piece right side out, and put the cuff over to the opening lining them up nicely.
Step 3
Pin the looped ribbon to the back of the stockings, then stuff the entire piece inside the lining, and make sure their right sides are facing. Pin the edges of the opening, then start stitching the layers together, and turn them right side out through the small hole at the bottom of the lining piece. Sew the gap closed, then stuff it inside the outer stocking, and smooth it out.
