This fun and truly creative decor idea by BELLE OF THE BLUEGRASS on YouTube is stunning, easy to make, and inexpensive. You can easily find all of the materials and supplies used here in the nearest Dollar store and they are surprisingly cheaper compared to store-bought decor. If you want to give this a try then proceed to read the easy instructions down below.

Materials:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Spray adhesive
  • Pool noodle
  • Wooden dowel rods
  • Scissors
  • Zip ties
  • Glitter
  • Spray paint
  • Ribbon
  • Minwax polyacrylic spray

Directions:

Step 1

Using the whole pool noodle can be too massive for the intended lollipop size, so cut it in half using scissors or an X-Acto knife, then start rolling it over to create the lollipop, and hold the end of the pool noodle to itself with a zip tie. Snip off the excess tail of the zip tie, then create a hole right beside where the pool noodle ends and underneath the lollipop, and insert the wooden dowel to serve as the handle of the lollipop. Spray the lollipop with red paint or any color you want, then let it dry completely, and coat it with another layer of spray paint if needed.

Step 2

Once done painting and drying the lollipop, spray it with adhesive, then sprinkle glitters all over it, and continue to spray adhesive every now and then while sprinkling glitters until completely covered. Create a bow with your ribbon, then dab some hot glue above the wooden dowel, and adhere the bow to hide where the stick was inserted. Now, you can put this decor on your Christmas tree by simply inserting it into the tree.
