Crafting is a hobby that I have had for a while now and I have already tried a couple of DIY projects, most of them are still in my room. This is a fun activity for when you want to pass the time or you simply want an item but find them too expensive to purchase.

When I need an idea or inspiration for a project, I always choose from the internet, and one of my most recent favorites is this one by Karen Kavett via HGTV Handmade on YouTube. This cardboard organizer is so cute and you can put a lot of your small items in each tube, plus it’s super easy to make, too.
Step 1
Measure 5.5 inches on the tube, then cut it with a saw or sharp utility knife, measure an inch from one end of the tube, and then cut diagonally from that marking. This tube will be the middle section, make another of the same size, then 3 pieces at 6.5″, 1 at 4.5″, and 1 at 3.5″, and use the same steps you did earlier.
Step 2
Decorate each tube however you want, but for this video, she used tape to cover the interior of the tube, then wrapped the exterior with contact paper, and decorated the diagonal edges with tape for extra details.
Step 3
Once done decorating the tubes, start assembling and hot gluing them together, make sure to place the 3 longest tubes at the bottom and the shortest tube at the top, until they look somehow like a pyramid, and the straight edges at the back, should align as shown in the video.
