Ingredients for Crockpot Hamburger Hash:

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 cup of white onion, diced
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • ¼ tsp of pepper
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • (10.75 ounces) cans of cream of mushroom soup, do not drain
  • (15.25 ounces) can of corn, drained well
  • 1.5 pounds of Russet potatoes, about 5 cups diced
  • 2 cups of sharp cheese, shredded

How to Make a Crockpot Hamburger Hash:

Step 1

Place a large skillet pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the ground beef and onion, and cook them until nice and brown. Drain off the excess grease and set them aside, then wash the potatoes well, and pat them dry.

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into small bite-sized cubes, then leave the skin on, and add them to the crockpot. Pour the cooked beef and onion over them, then add in the cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, corn, and half of the cheese, and stir everything until combined.

Step 3

Spread the mixture out in a single layer, then cover the crockpot with the lid, and cook them on a low setting for about 5 hours without opening the lid. After cooking for 5 hours, add the remaining cheese on top, then cover it again, and leave it for about 10 minutes until melted. Serve and enjoy!
