I always look forward to dinner with the whole family because it’s so fun and satisfying to eat with the people you love around you, but if you have an appetite like me, you can also enjoy a meal all by yourself. When it comes to a delicious meal, I opt for a recipe that’s simple, easy to make, and ready in just a few steps or with little to no effort at all.

One of my favorite go-to recipes is this one by The Magical Slow Cooker on YouTube, it’s a yummy dish that’s perfect for both ordinary mealtime and special occasions alike. You can prepare this with only a few simple ingredients and you can also modify the seasonings to your preference, and if you like a little kick, then go ahead and add in some spicy seasonings!

Step 1

Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs pulling it off completely as shown in the video, then cut the ribs into 4 sections, and prepare the rub seasoning.

Step 2

In a small bowl, add the brown sugar, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then mix them until uniform, and sprinkle on both sides of the ribs evenly.

Step 3

Rub the seasoning in with your hands, then place them in the crockpot, and pour in the water and liquid smoke around the ribs.

Step 4

Cover the crockpot with the lid, then cook the ribs on a low setting for 8 hours or on a high setting for 4 hours, and brush them with more BBQ if desired. Serve and enjoy!
