French fries are incredibly delicious and they come in various flavors, too. They are perfect for snack time and the best when paired with hamburgers, sandwiches, or hotdogs. This snack recipe idea by 1 Minute 3 Ingredient on YouTube is a different but super yummy way of serving fried potatoes because they are extra crispy. You’ll surely never want fried potatoes served any other way once you’ve tried this version.
For Serving
Step 1
Wash the potato well, then peel off the skin, and slice it thinly as shown in the video. Place the potato sheets in a large bowl filled with water, then let them sit for a few minutes, and remove the water. Lay the larger potato sheets on a chopping board or baking sheet, then sift over some cornstarch, place a smaller potato sheet on top of each larger one, and sift over more cornstarch. From the top edge, roll the potato sheets over up to the bottom edge, then hold them in place by inserting a toothpick in the middle, and place them in a large bowl.

Step 2
Continue rolling the rest of the potato sheets, then place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, and preheat enough oil to deep fry the potato rolls. Once hot, place the skewered potato rolls in batches to not overcrowd the pan, then let them cook until all sides are evenly brown and crispy. Scoop out the cooked potato rolls, then transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil, and once cool to the touch, remove the toothpick. Season them with some salt and parsley flakes to taste, then serve with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
