After a tiring and busy day, I always make sure to prepare a quick and easy meal that is super delicious and is definitely better than takeout! This is my favorite go-to recipe because all I need is some chicken and a few ingredients that I already have in my kitchen. Even my family loves this crispy honey chicken and would always ask me to make this. All thanks to TheCooknShare channel on YouTube for making this wonderful recipe.
For the sauce
Step 1
In a mixing bowl or pyrex, add the chicken stock, cooking wine or water, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and white sugar, then stir them all together until well combined, and set it aside for later. In a separate mixing bowl, place the cubed chicken breasts, then add the egg, pepper, cooking wine, and flour, and toss them together using your hand until well coated. Place a large and deep pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add some oil enough to deep fry the chicken, and let it heat up.

Step 2
Once the oil is hot enough, add the coated chicken in batches to not overcrowd the pan, then let them fry for about 5 minutes or until nice and golden, and set them aside in a paper towel-lined plate or bowl to drain off excess oil. In the same pan, add the ginger and garlic, then saute them for a few minutes or until fragrant, and add the sauce mixture. Bring the sauce to a boil, then add the cornstarch diluted in water, and stir them well until incorporated and thickened. Put the chicken back into the pan, then give them a good toss to coat each piece with the sauce, and turn off the heat. Transfer the chicken to a serving plate, then garnish with sesame seeds, serve over hot rice, and enjoy!
