Homemade Ranch Dip
Step 1
Prepare the chicken as shown in the video, then place them in a large mixing bowl, and add in the buttermilk, dill pickle juice, Frank’s red hot, and smoked paprika. Gently mix them all together until well combined and incorporated, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and put it in the fridge to marinate for about 2 hours. Add the salt, sugar, and msg to the vinegar, then give them a quick stir until dissolved, and set it aside.
Step 2
Put the granulated garlic and onion powder into a mortar and grind them together until fine powder, then in a separate large mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise and sour cream, and give them a good whisk to combine. Gradually add the buttermilk while whisking continuously, then add in the spices and vinegar mix, and keep whisking between each addition making sure they are incorporated.

Step 3
Once well mixed, add the chopped herbs, then give them a good whisk to combine, and cover the bowl with plastic wrap until ready to serve. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with paper towels, then place more paper towels on top, and gently press it down to soak in the excess moisture. Prepare the breading station in separate bowls, then start coating the marinated chicken with the flour mixture, dip them in egg, and then coat them with breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Place a large and deep pan on a stove over medium to medium-high heat, add the oil allowing it to heat up, then place the coated chicken in batches to not overcrowd the pan, and cook them for about 2 minutes per side or until nice and golden brown. Place the cooked chicken on a wire rack to drain off the excess oil, then serve with the prepared dip on the side, and enjoy!
