I love eating chocolates and one of my many favorites is Ferrero Rocher but no matter how many I eat, it just wasn’t enough, plus, it is also kind of pricey. That is why I was so excited when I found this cake version by Ellen’s Kitchen on YouTube but what made me happier is the fact that it is super easy to make! Now, I can have more servings of my favorite chocolate while enjoying a cake at the same time, plus, this is also great to give as a gift or to serve at parties.

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, salt, and sugar, then beat them all together for about 5 to 8 minutes until fluffy, and sift over the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Add the vegetable oil and milk, then fold and mix them together until well combined, and pour them into a springform pan lined with parchment paper at the bottom spreading it evenly. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and seal the edges nicely, then place them in a preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F, and allow it to bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 2
Once done baking, let it cool down and cut it into 3 layers evenly, then set them aside for later. In a large mixing bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, add the cream cheese, whipping cream, and Nutella, then beat them all together until smooth and combined, and transfer them to a piping bag. Place the first layer of cake on a cake board or serving plate, then spread the cream filling all over the top evenly, and spread some hazelnuts.
Step 3
Cover the nuts with more cream filling, then repeat the layering one more time, and place the final layer of cake on top. Using the remaining cream filling, cover the whole cake, then place it in the refrigerator, and allow it to set for about 2 to 3 hours. In another bowl, add the chocolate and hot cream, then mix them together until melted and incorporated, and then mix in the hazelnuts. Pour the chocolate mixture all over the cake coating it evenly, then let it set, and serve. Enjoy!
