This confetti star quilt block by Material Girlfriends Patterns on YouTube is one of the easiest video tutorials I’ve watched. I’m sure everyone can breeze through the steps, especially beginners because the process of making this quilt block was simplified and made easier to understand

What’s also great about this confetti star quilt block aside from the fact that it requires no complicated technique, is that you can use any fabric that you want, and it’s even layer cake-friendly. If you want to learn how now, then do check out the video tutorial below, and give it a try!
Step 1
Download the pattern, cut the fabrics into squares, and then cut them in half diagonally to make two triangles. Make another diagonal cut parallel to the line at 2½ inches away to make a smaller triangle, then cut the diagonal strip on both ends 2½ inches away, one horizontal and one vertical as demonstrated in the video, and do the same steps to the other large triangle.
Step 2
Take the diamonds, then trade them with the lighter fabric, and stitch them back together starting at the center and working your way outward. Press the block unit nicely and trim it to a square, then make 2 more sets, and piece them together to form the confetti star.
