Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp green food coloring
  • 12 black olives, cut in half
  • Sriracha sauce

Directions:

Step 1

Boil the eggs, then peel off the shells, and cut them in half before removing all of the yolks. Put the scooped egg yolks in a large mixing bowl, then add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix them all together until well combined and uniform. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the yolk mixture in a small bowl and set it aside. Add 2 teaspoons or more of green food coloring into the remaining egg yolk mixture in the large bowl, then give them a good mix, and transfer to a piping bag.

Step 2

Squeeze out the mixture onto the hollow spaces of each egg half, then do a zig-zag motion to form a tree shape, and use the reserved yellow yolk mixture to pipe and form a star shape at the top of the tree. Decorate the tree by adding olive halves along the bottom for the trunk, then put some dots of sriracha sauce for the lights, and you’re done. Serve and enjoy!
