My family loves it when I make chili cheese hotdogs for them and they can finish each serving in just a few minutes and in one sitting. This week, I am going to try this recipe by Bain’s Bites on YouTube, but I already know that they will love this one for sure! These hotdog buns are so much easier to prepare than what I usually day which takes a lot of time to finish and this is also perfect for feeding a crowd because of the fact that this can be cooked in an air fryer in as fast as 4 minutes. I’m sure that you’ll love this recipe, too, so check the written instructions down below now, and while you’re at it watch the video tutorial as well. I hope you enjoy this air fryer recipe as much as I did.

Ingredients:

  • Hotdogs
  • Hotdog buns
  • A can of your favorite chili
  • Onions, diced
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Mustard, optional
  • Ketchup, optional
  • Crispy jalapeños, optional

Directions:

Step 1

Open the bun, then place the hotdog nicely, and place it in the air fryer basket, do the same for the rest of the buns and hotdogs. Spoon and spread the chili all over the top of the hotdogs, then top them with frozen onions and shredded cheddar cheese and then pop the basket in the air fryer.

Step 2

Set the timer to 4 to 7 minutes and cook the hotdog buns at 380 degrees to desired crispiness, then check them after 4 minutes if it has reached the desired doneness, and once cooked, drizzle them with yellow mustard and garnish them with crispy jalapeños. Serve and enjoy!
