Ingredients:

  • 1 lb cooked chicken breast (4 cups diced)
  • 2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1 cup (2-3 sticks) celery, cut in half lengthwise, then sliced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped (1/2 of a small red onion)
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped

For the Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dill, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Directions:

Step 1

To start, prepare and chop the ingredients accordingly. Toast and coarsely chop 1 cup of pecans, diced the chicken, finely chop three stalks of celery, halved 2 cups of seedless grapes, and finely chop 1/2 of a small red onion. Put them all together in a large mixing bowl. Set it aside.

Step 2

For the dressing, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice, 2 tbsp freshly chopped dill, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix well to combine, then drizzle it into the salad. Toss everything well, then serve.
