I’ve tried different chicken and beef wraps before but so far, this is one of my favorite versions! This recipe by ThatDudeCanCook on YouTube is seriously so good I wished I had known about it sooner, this is a dish that I’d definitely serve to my family or guests. The dressing of this chicken wrap is so delicious and flavorful and it works great for salad or sandwiches, too.

Step 1
In a mortar and pestle, blender, or food processor, add the garlic, salt, chili flakes, and thyme (if using), then grind them well until mashed, add the basil leaves, and continue mashing. Add the oil, then work it in until combined, and set it aside. Place the chicken in the Ziploc bag, then pound them well with a meat tenderizer, open the bag, and dump the marinade in. Seal the bag and give them a good mix, then place it in the refrigerator, and allow it to marinate for a few hours up to overnight.
Step 2
In a food processor, add the egg, garlic, and water, then blend them all for a minute before adding oil, continue blending, and then add the anchovies, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and lemon juice. Blend them well before adding the parmesan cheese, then blend it in, add the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and give it a final blend to combine everything. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, then transfer the dressing to a container with a lid and set it aside in the refrigerator until needed.

Step 3
Place the bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer, then bake it in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, and place them in a plate or tray lined with a paper towel. Allow the bacon to cool down and roughly chop them into smaller pieces. Now, for the bread, cut them into bite-sized cubes, then spray them with some water, and drop them in a large mixing bowl. Mix an even portion of olive oil and melted butter, then pour it all over the bread, and season them with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese.
Step 4
Give them a good toss until combined, then transfer them to a baking sheet, then spread them in an even layer, and bake them in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 18 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Preheat a cast-iron grill pan on a stove over high heat for about 5 minutes, then spray it with some oil, and place the marinated chicken. Turn them every 90 seconds, then cook them for about 3 minutes before flipping them over, and season them with some more salt to taste. Cook the other side for another 3 minutes, then let them cool down to room temperature, and cut them into cubes.
Step 5
Roughly chop the croutons and cut the lettuce thinly, then add them to a large bowl, and then season them with some lemon juice and dressing. Mix them until well combined, then toss the chicken in some dressing as well until nicely coated, and wrap everything with a tortilla. Place a skillet pan on a stove over medium to medium-high heat, then heat some oil, and add the chicken wrap. Toast it well for about 30 seconds on each side or until nicely browned., then cut it in half, and serve. Enjoy!
