  • (16 ounces) tube of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • ½ cup of granulated white sugar
  • 1 (21 ounces) can of cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1-2 tbsp of milk
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then cut the cookie dough into 24 slices evenly, and then pour half a cup of granulated sugar into a plate or bowl. Roll each cookie dough slice into a ball, then roll it in sugar until evenly coated, and repeat with the remaining cookie dough.

Step 2

Grease a 24-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray, then place each coated dough ball in each cup, and place them in the preheated oven. Allow them to bake for about 15 minutes, then gently press the inside of each cup to define the dip, then scoop about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling into each cup, and bake them for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 3

While waiting, whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter, and milk in a small bow until smooth and combined, then drizzle it over the freshly baked cookies, and let them cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
