If you ask me what the best appetizer is, I’d have a lot of dishes to suggest, but if you want something classic, then you might love this cheesy baked asparagus by Cafe Delites on YouTube. This is a simple way to cook asparagus but it makes the veggie taste so good that you’d want to keep munching on it.

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F, then lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil spray, and prepare the asparagus. Place the asparagus in the prepared baking sheet, then spread it in a single layer, and set them aside.
Step 2
In a small bowl, add the olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, then give them a good mix, and drizzle it over the asparagus. Toss the asparagus until evenly coated, then place it in the preheated oven, and let it bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until vibrant and just beginner to get tender.
Step 3
Once done baking, remove it from the oven, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top, and put it back in the oven to broil for an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden. Adjust the salt and pepper to taste if needed, then serve immediately, and enjoy!
