There are a lot of easy and simple quilt block ideas that you can make and find online, but my favorite quilt blocks to make are those that you can assemble in numerous ways. Just like this one by Tulip Square on YouTube, what’s great about this quilt block is that you can assemble them however you want and form a whole new quilt pattern.

This is a very easy project that even beginners can try, and you can also use any combination of fabric prints and colors to make your quilt stand out. Learn the steps now by reading the written instructions down below, and while you’re at it watch the video tutorial as well for more details.
Step 1
Download and print the fabric, then get 2 strips of each fabric, and lay them out beside each other alternating the dark and light fabric. Stitch them by pair and the pairs to each other pressing the seams as you go, then repeat the same steps to the rest of the strips.
Step 2
Get 2 squares of each fabric, then assemble them alternately into a 4-patch block, and stitch them together pressing the seams as you go. Cut the strip units diagonally in half, then mix and match them assembling the pieces into a new block as shown in the video, and stitch them together.
Step 3
Now, assemble the blocks however you want, you can refer to the pattern for options, then proceed to stitch everything together and give it a good press. Continue to make more blocks and finish your quilt however you want.
