4-Ingredient Caramel Apple Dump Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cans of apple pie filling
• Caramel sauce
• Yellow cake mix
• 2 sticks of butter
• Ice cream, optional
• Cinnamon powder, optional

Directions:

Step 1

Grease your baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray, then scoop out all of the apple pie filling into the bottom of the baking dish, spread, and flatten it evenly, you can also sprinkle some cinnamon on top if you want. Next, grab the bottle of your caramel sauce, then start drizzling it all over the pie filling, the amount of caramel will be depending on your preference. Swirl it a bit with the spoon just to help the caramel go down the apple filling a little bit.

Step 2

Now, it’s time to dump your cake mix on top of the mixture, using a flat spatula, spread the cake mix out and all over them evenly. Slice the butter into about a quarter-inch thin slices, then place each slice of butter on top of the cake mix until covered. Place it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, and let it bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. Scoop out, then add some ice cream on the side, and drizzle with more caramel.
