Ingredients:

  • 4 – 5 potatoes, boiled
  • 2 – 2 1/2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 can of canned tuna
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 5 – 6 puff pastry sheet (ramekin size)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Step 1

Wash, peel, and boil your potatoes, then mash them. Add 2 1/2 tbsp butter, salt, ground black pepper, and 3 tbsp milk, then continue to mix until well combined. Set it aside. Next, drain your canned tuna and season it with 1 tsp garlic powder, salt, and ground black pepper to taste. After this, add 2 tbsp mayonnaise and 2 tbsp tomato sauce. Mix everything until well combined.

Step 2

Next, cut the puff pastry sheet into quarters and poke some holes using a fork. Set them aside. Now, divide the tuna mixture into your ramekins, then layer each with mashed potatoes, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Once done, brush the edge of each ramekin with egg wash, then cover the top with puff pastry. Lastly, brush the top of the puff pastry with egg wash. Bake them in a preheated oven at 425 degrees F for about 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
