Since I love Butterfinger candy bars and caramel toppings, I figured this might be the best combo that was ever made, and I wasn’t wrong, it was incredibly delicious that it was gone the moment I served it to the table. My family even asked me to make this cake more often, it’s that good.

Ingredients for Butterfinger Poke Cake:

  • (15.25 ounces) box of marble cake mix
  • Ingredients listed on the back of the cake mix box
  • (14 ounces) can of sweetened condensed milk
  • (14 ounces) jar of caramel topping
  • (8 ounces) tub of Cool Whip, thawed
  • Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
  • Chocolate syrup, optional

How to Make Butterfinger Poke Cake:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. In a large mixing bowl, add the ingredients for the cake mix, and prepare it according to the instructions listed in the box.

Step 2

To make the cake bakery style, swap the melted butter or oil, the milk for water, and don’t add an extra egg. Bake the cake, then allow it to cool down for a few minutes, and prepare the milk caramel mixture while waiting.

Step 3

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping, then whisk them until uniform and well combined, and set it aside. Grab the cooled cake, then poke holes all over the cake using a large serving fork, then pour the milk and caramel topping over the cake, and spread it evenly.

Step 4

Place the cake in the refrigerator, then allow it to cool, and once ready, spread the Cool Whip over the top evenly. Crush the candy bars into fine crumbs, then sprinkle it all over the cake, and serve. Enjoy!
