Planning a meal during hard times can be challenging since you have to make something on a budget but it has to be delicious at the same time so that the whole family can enjoy it. During those times, I always choose dishes that use inexpensive or leftover ingredients, and one of my favorite go-to recipes is this one by Delaware Acre on YouTube! This one-pot pasta recipe is so delicious and satisfying, surely your family will thank you when you serve this to the table.

Place a Dutch oven on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the ground meat, and break them apart. Let the meat cook until nice and brown, then while waiting, add the cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sugar, and water, and stir them all together until well combined and uniform. Pour the seasoning mixture into the meat, then add the milk and pasta, and mix them in until the pasta is coated with the sauce and submerged as much as possible. Allow it to simmer until the pasta is cooked to the desired doneness and the sauce has thickened, you can add the shredded cheese at this point, then mix them together until melted, and serve, or you can also skip this step and just add the cheese upon serving. Serve with more shredded cheese on top if desired and enjoy!
