If I’m not eating a chocolate cake, you’ll see me eating this brownie trifle from Huma in the kitchen on Youtube. This dessert is one of my all-time favorites! It’s easy to prepare, the ingredients are inexpensive, and it tastes like heaven. I always make this whenever I have time during the weekends, and I share it with my family. So if you’re up to a chocolate dessert today, try this wonderful recipe! Watch the video below to learn how to make this.

Ingredients:

  • fudgy brownies, cut into small squares
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp heavy cream (or double cream)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut your fudgy brownies into bite-size pieces and put them in a large bowl. Next, combine 2 tbsp heavy cream and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and microwave them for twenty seconds, then mix until the chocolate chips fully dissolve. Set it aside to let it cool completely. Next, whip 2 cups of heavy cream using a handheld mixer for two to three minutes. After this, add 2 tbsp powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla essence, and continue mixing until just before stiff peaks are formed, then divide the mixture into two equal portions.

Step 2

Now, add the melted chocolate chips to one portion of the whipped heavy cream. Beat until stiff peaks to make the chocolate mouse. Transfer the mousse and the whipped heavy cream into a separate piping bag. Now, it’s time to assemble the trifle. In your chosen container, layer the brownie pieces tightly at the bottom. After this, pipe a layer of the chocolate mouse over the brownies and smooth it out using a spoon followed by a layer of the whipped cream. Repeat these layers: brownies, chocolate mousse, and whipped cream, until you fill the container. Finish it off with crumbled brownies (optional). Your brownie trifle is now ready to be served.
