Easy Breakfast Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

• 5 pieces of russet potatoes
• 1 teaspoon of cajun seasoning
• 1 teaspoon of onion powder
• 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon of dried parsley
• ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
• Salt, to taste
• 3 strips of bacon
• 1 teaspoon of paprika
• 3 Jimmy Dean all-natural pork sausage patties
• 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
• 1 onion, sliced

Directions:

Step 1

Wash and peel your potatoes, then cut them into small bite-sized pieces. Place a pot filled with water on a stove over medium-high heat boil in a pot with water, then submerge your potatoes, and bring it to a boil for only about 5 minutes just to give it a headstart. Once the potatoes are done cooking, drain off the water. In a pan, add and melt about 2 tablespoons of butter, then fry the bacon strips until their crispy, remove the bacon once done, then set aside. Using the same grease, fry the sausages until they are cooked through, then set them aside.

Step 2

Add in about 2 tablespoons of butter or more as needed, then add the potatoes and season them with half each of cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, salt, and paprika. Toss the potatoes and season the other side with the remaining seasonings, toss and stir until the seasoning is well combined with the potatoes. Let it sizzle until it becomes nice and crispy, add in onion and cook them to your liking, then add in the sausage and bacon. Cook for a little bit more then serve.
