This breakfast corned beef hash is so delicious that you honestly wouldn’t even want to share. It’s packed with flavors and the potatoes and beef are cooked to crusty perfection which makes it even more delicious. You can also incorporate cheese into the ingredients and add as much as you want.

Step 1

Place a large skillet on a stove over medium heat, then melt 4 tablespoons of butter, and saute the diced onion for about 3 to 4 minutes or until soft and translucent. Add the chopped corned beef, and saute them for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, then while waiting, boil the potatoes for about 5 to 10 minutes or until fork tender.

Step 2

Once the potatoes are soft, drain off all the water, then add the boiled potatoes to the pan, and give them a good mix until combined. Season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then mix everything until combined, and press the mixture to the skillet in an even layer. Let it cook for about 3 to 5 minutes undistributed to let it develop a golden brown crust.

Step 3

Once crusty, scrape the bottom and flip over the hash so the crispy bit is at the top. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, then give them a good mix, and press the hash firmly to the bottom of the skillet again. Let it cook for 3 to 5 more minutes, then repeat the process for about 2 to 3 more times until desired browning and crispiness, and serve hot. Enjoy!
