What You Need to Remove Blood Stain:

  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Windex
  • A cleaning toothbrush
  • Paper towels

How to Remove Blood Stain:

Step 1

Take a little piece of paper towel, then place it underneath the fabric right where the stain is, and saturate the stain with hydrogen peroxide. You should see it fizz up which means it’s working, now take your cleaning toothbrush, then start scrubbing the stain, and work the product into the fibers.

Step 2

Take another piece of paper towel, then blot the stain until almost clean, and let the hydrogen peroxide sit on the stain for about 10 to 15 minutes. After a couple of minutes, rinse the area with cold water, and if there’s still a bit of stain left, repeat applying the hydrogen peroxide, scrubbing, and rinsing until completely gone.

Step 3

Make sure to use cold water and not hot water on the protein-based stain because the stain will set. Another method that you can try is using Windex instead of hydrogen peroxide, just spray it directly to the stain, then scrub it well, and work the product into the fibers. Dab it with a paper towel, then blot the area until the stain is transferred to the paper towel, and rinse the area with cold water.
