10 Cleaning Hacks With Shaving Cream

Cleaning is a must in every household, as a responsible owner, you should always maintain a clean bacteria-free home. This is not only for the sake of aesthetics but also for the health of those who are in the house, a clean house also rids of unpleasant smells or stink that can eventually become annoying and uncomfortable. However, this task is not that easy, it can be pretty tiring and physically draining. But cleaning doesn’t have to be that time-consuming anymore because there’s an easier and faster way to clean a house without breaking a sweat. Here’s a shaving cream hack that I found on YouTube created by Andrea Jean Cleaning.
Materials:
- Shaving cream with alcohol
Directions:
Bathtub
To remove stains on your bathtub and make them look as good as new, put enough amount of shaving cream on your broom and scrub all over your tub. Rinse it all out and you’ll have a clean and shiny bathtub again.
Toilet brush
Cover the bristles of the toilet brush with shaving cream and leave it overnight, this will disinfect the bacteria it contains. Use it directly to clean the toilet and be amazed by its fragrant and clean smell.

Mirrors
Clean and remove stains from hairspray or toothpaste by rubbing a microfiber towel with shaving cream on it. You can also do this method on stainless steel like your faucets.
Kitchen sink
Put shaving cream on a microfiber towel and rub it all over the sink then rinse it with water afterward.
Vents or blinds
Clean dirt from your air vents or blind curtains by rubbing a microfiber towel or toothbrush with shaving cream.
Carpet
To rid your carpeted floors of dirt and stains, rub shaving cream on them then let it sit before wiping it clean with a damp towel. Then you can also vacuum it afterward.
Door handles
Wipe door handles using a towel with shaving cream to get rid of and sanitize them from various bacteria.
Door frames
If you have a garage and most of the time encounter a greasy door surface, then you can now easily clean it by wiping a towel with shaving cream around it. You can do these on other surfaces of your house.
Washing machine
You can use shaving cream to wipe clean your washing machine, especially the parts made of glass or transparent, this will make it shiny and spotless.
Bed mattress
Spray a good amount of shaving cream onto your mattress stain, rub then let it sit. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
