If there is something that would never go missing in our kitchen, that would be bananas. It’s a must and is always included in the shopping list, we love including them in recipes, and one of my favorites is this chocolate banana marble pound cake by HidaMari Cooking on YouTube.

All you need for this cake is a single banana and I guarantee you it would go a long way. It’s very delicious and is perfect to serve for breakfast, snacks, or even dessert, you can eat it whenever you want! Learn the step easy steps to making this treat below and try it today.
Step 1
Cut the banana into small pieces, then add them to a bowl, and mash them with a fork until smooth. In a separate bowl, add the eggs, salt, and sugar, then give them a good mix, and add the oil, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract.
Step 2
Continue to mix until well combined, then sift over the cake flour, ground almonds, and baking powder, and mix them until smooth and glossy. Separate about 200 grams or ¾ cup of the batter, then in a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder and hot water, and add it to the separated dough.
Step 3
Transfer the batter to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, scoop them in dollops alternately, then swirl them lightly with a skewer, and place the cake in a preheated oven at 170°C or 338°F. Allow it to bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, then let cool, and unmold. Serve and enjoy!
