Step 1
Place a large skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the olive oil, and heat it before placing the chicken. Allow them to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until both sides are nice and brown, then remove the chicken, and set it aside on a plate.

In the same skillet, add the bacon, then cook it until nice and crispy, and then set it aside on a plate. Add the mushrooms to the same pan, then cook them until tender, and then remove them to a plate before setting them aside. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and balsamic vinegar, then add in the parmesan cheese, and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Give them a good whisk to combine, then let the mixture cook over medium-high heat for about 3 to 5 minutes or until it starts to thicken, and add the mushrooms to the sauce.
