Step 1
Download and print the pattern and cut the fabrics to size. Lay together a medium print square and background square with their right sides facing, then line the back diagonally, and stitch on either side of the line.

Step 2
Cut it in half and press the seams open, then cut off the nubs, and trim it off to 2 and 5/8 inches square. Repeat the same steps with the remaining medium print and background squares, then make half-square triangles with dark print squares as well.
Step 3
Stitch the half-square triangle units together, make sure to refer to the diagram for the pattern, then sew the triangles on the end, and press the seams as you go. Stitch the triangles that will go on the sides, then cut off the nubs, and stitch them on each side of the half-square triangle patchwork pressing the seams as you go.
