  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp of kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of shredded apple
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • ½ cup of all-purpose flour, or more as needed
  • ¼ tsp of baking powder
  • ⅛ tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tbsp of melted butter

Directions:

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add the egg, sugar, cinnamon, ginger powder, nutmeg, kosher salt, and vanilla extract, then whisk them all together until well combined and lightly foamy, shred the apple, and add it to the mixture as well followed by lemon juice.
