After cleaning and/or washing your shoes, apply WD-40 to the leathery or rubbery part, then wipe it well with a clean cloth or rag, and allow it to dry. This will create a protective layer around your shoes that repels not only water and splashes but also dirt. You won’t even need to wipe your shoes dry with this brilliant hack

Apply an ample amount of WD-40 on the hinges of your doors, windows, or drawers, then wipe the excess with a tissue, and now you’ll have a door, window, or drawer that opens and closes smoothly without noise or creak.
