Ever since we bought a new air fryer, we have been trying a lot of recipes with it and aside from chicken, one of the foods that have been our family’s go-to favorite is a nice and delicious cheese sandwich! We have seen a lot of versions of air frying sandwiches but what caught my attention and interest is how simple and quick this recipe by The Stay At Home Chef on YouTube is. The taste of the spread is so yummy and balanced, it’s not overwhelming but also not underwhelming, even the kids loved this so much that they want to eat it every day.
Step 1
In a small mixing bowl, add the softened butter, garlic powder, and hot sauce, then mix them all together until well combined and incorporated, and then spread a thin layer on one side of each slice of bread. Hold one slice of bread with the buttered side down, then place two slices of cheese on the non-buttered side, and top them with another slice of bread with its buttered side facing up.

Step 3
Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket, then repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread and cheese, and let them cook at 350°F for about 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese has melted. Once done cooking, remove them from the air fryer, then let them cool down a bit, serve, and enjoy!
