The steps for this beautiful quilt are very easy to follow. Start by taking three different strips from your roll. Sew them together to make a 3-unit, then cut them into blocks. The last thing you need to do is snowball two opposite corners. It is done by sewing small squares in corners diagonally. Once you are done, all that’s left to do is trim and press open. How easy is that? Remember to use the same color theme for the middle strips.

Step 3:

Cut 3 1/2″ squares from your background fabric for the corner squares. You will need 2 for each block, so cut about 63 squares.

Fold in half diagonally to make a crease or draw a diagonal line across your squares.

Step 4:

Place the square on the top left corner of your block, right sides together. Sew directly on the line. Place the other square on the bottom right of the block and sew on the line. Repeat with the rest of your blocks. Trim the excess 1/4″ away from the seams. Open the edges and press. Repeat with the other blocks.
