For the glaze:
Open the canned biscuit and separate each one. Tear each in half, then chop into small pieces. You can season them with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Peel the apples, remove the core, and chop them into small pieces.
Add the chopped apples to the chopped canned biscuit. Sprinkle all-purpose flour, then mix with your hands. Make sure to distribute the apples well. Flour your rolling pin and roll it out. Flour your knife and cut it into four.
Press each and spread them out. You want to punch the dough and dimple it to make it thin.
Add cooking oil to a pan and let it come to heat.
While waiting, make the glaze. Combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl. Whisk until well combined.
To check if the oil is ready, dip the end of a wooden spoon into the oil. If it bubbles and sizzles, it’s good to go. It should be around 360F. Once the oil is hot, gently drop the apple fritter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. It should be deep golden brown and cooked through. Once done, transfer to a cooling rack. Repeat with the remaining dough.
Coat each fritter with the homemade glaze. Let the excess drip, then place it back on the cooling rack. Let it sit until set.
