How To Make A Scratch-Off Gift Card
The first thing you need to do is cut two big rectangles from two colored papers. Using your pattern scissors, cut the edges of one of the rectangles, then glue it on top of the other piece. Cut a hearts or as many as you want with a different colored paper. Just make sure that they fit on the rectangle. Arrange them on the paper, however you like. Leave a space on top for the title and instructions.
Once you have decided on the arrangement, trace the hearts one by one. Write any gift choice you can think of on each heart. Some ideas from her are a back massage, homemade dinner, and a movie night date. Cut some clear tapes the same size as the heart and stick them right on top of each one.
Next, on a paper plate add a small amount of red paint and a few drops of dish soap. Mix them together. Paint over the heart until the words are no longer visible.
Write a “scratch to win” on top, and “use me” on the bottom with the coin taped on the side.
