Materials:

  • 5L bottle (or any bottle that can fit a toilet paper roll)
  • soldering iron
  • rope
  • double-sided tape
  • cutter (or scissors)

Directions:

Step 1

To start, open up the bottom of the plastic bottle by using a soldering iron. Next, use double-sided tape to attach the rope around the plastic bottle. Repeat this process until you have wrapped the whole bottle with rope. (For added design, you can use two shades of rope.)

Step 2

After you have wrapped the bottle with rope, cut open the upper part of the plastic bottle using a cutter or scissors, then wrap the edges with rope also. Next, put holes on both sides and attach a piece of rope then tie it. This will serve as the handle of the toilet paper holder. Lastly, place the toilet paper roll inside, and your DIY holder is now finished.
