Here’s an idea for a Teddy Bear Backpack that is perfect for the young loved one in your family, and it does not cost much to make or take too much time either. You just need to upcycle a Teddy Bear from the thrift store or you can use a new one to make this amazing backpack. I could not wait to get my materials together and start his for my daughter.
Materials:
- 1 Teddy Bear
- 1 Seam Ripper
- Small Piece of Fabric (for inside pouch)
- 2 Belts (for straps)
- 1 Zipper
- Hot Glue Gun
You start by getting a seam ripper and taking apart your bear in a very strategic way, undoing the back seam and removing a small portion of the stuffing.
Then you cut out a small piece of fabric to make a pouch to go inside your cute Teddy Bear and either sew it or glue it the fasten it inside the bear.
Then you pin in your zipper and either sew it or glue it on.
Then you just attach your belts as straps with your trusty hot glue gun.
This Teddy Bear Backpack turned out so super cute! I made one for my daughter and one for my niece and they absolutely love it. I hope you guys love this project as much as I did, it’s so much fun to make and looks fabulous, I cannot recommend it enough. It’s so soft and cuddly and useful, everything a young person needs. I love it!
