Are you looking for a unique and rustic placemat?  This one is easy, inexpensive and awesome looking!  I made six of them and they look so cool on my dining room table.  My table is weathered  looking and these stone placemats really set it off!  If they get dirty you can just wipe them off with a damp rag, if you use a wicker type placemat.  I used rubberized placemats and can just hose them off outside.

I’ve always loved the way river rocks look and I’ve recently seen all kinds of craft projects that utilize them in different home decor. I’ve seen table runners, bathmats, front door mats and the list goes on and on!  You can’t go wrong making something with these stones. Some people have done a whole wall in their bathroom with these stones and it’s so cool looking!

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
