Not only does a solar water fountain add aesthetic appeal, but it also attracts birds and beneficial insects, creating a lively and dynamic ecosystem in your yard. Plus, the gentle sound of flowing water can be incredibly relaxing, providing a perfect backdrop for outdoor gatherings or quiet moments of reflection. What are you waiting for? Make one for your garden today with this step by step guide.
Cut a hole into the bottom of the planter using a drill. Next, fill in the holes of the hanging part of the hanging planter with some gorilla glue silicone. After this, remove any excess silicone. Next, add some of the silicone to the top rim of a glass mug, then put it in the center of the hanging planter. Let the whole thing dry under the sun for a couple of hours.
Now, insert the solar fountain into the bottom of the planter along with the extra cord. Once done, turn the planter up, then put some bricks inside to give it extra weight. Once the silicone has dried, place the hanging planter on top of the tall planter, pushing it down into the center. Set the solar panel up, then place the water pump in the center of the planter, above the glass mug. Now, fill up the fountain with water and turn it on.
