I love Christmas Ornaments that sparkle, so when I saw this tutorial on Youtube for these DIY Sequined Ornaments, I fell in love. When they said it was going to be cheap and easy, boy did they mean cheap and easy! Seriously, this is the kind of DIY project where you get some styrofoam balls and a spool of sequins, then add whatever you have, a few sprigs of greenery, a bow, some glittery letters, and you have beautiful Christmas balls! The thing is whatever you fancy will work perfectly for these awesome DIY Sequined Christmas Ball Ornaments. I started by getting some styrofoam craft balls and a spool of sequins from Michael’s Craft Store, I used my 40% off coupon so they were very inexpensive. Then I just needed things I already had like string to hang the ornament to the tree and of course my trusty hot glue gun. I started this project by placing a dot of hot glue from my trusty hot glue gun on the very top of the ornament, then starting a growing circle of sequins gluing them down as I went.
Then when I was about to reach the other end, having almost all of my ball surface area covered, I poked a small hole in the top of the styrofoam and added so hot glue, then made a lovely decorative loop and stuck it into the glue and continued gluing sequins until the ball was covered.
These Christmas balls are gorgeous and so simple, I made about 25 in one hour. My ree looks great!
