Do you need some special lighting for a romantic evening?  This is a fabulous and easy way to have that ambience you’re looking for!  This makes me feel like I’m in a log cabin with snow on the ground.  I love things that are created from nature.  It adds such an esthetic quality to my decor.  Whether you live in the country or your home is in the city, you don’t have to live in a barn to embrace rustic country charm.

The rustic appeal of weathered wood logs can spruce up your and make for a cozy interior decor as you can simply round up a good tree branch  Grab the wood logs and give a genius spark your place!

Decide where you want your holes and mark them. Decide what size the holes need to be to fit your candles.  Be sure to use glass tea lights. The little tin cups aren’t safe enough and pose a fire hazard. Drill your holes with a big bit.  They used a 1 1/4 inch bit.

Watch the step by step video and you can have your lovely wooden log candle holder!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
