The kitchen, I would say, is the most undecorated part of the house every Christmas season. This year, I really want to decorate this room in my house, and I found the best decor idea from @makeupby_analiza on TikTok! Aren’t these cabinets look so cute and adorable? I swear they look like giant presents over the kitchen countertops. This decor idea would make my kitchen uniform with the rest of the house.

I also love how simple this DIY is, yet it would make an impact. You also just need lots of ribbons, a bow wreath, and a stapler to do this project. This would make a great weekend DIY activity to do with your family, don’t you think? Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step process, or continue reading down for the full written instructions. Thanks to @makeupby_analiza for this fantastic DIY Christmas decor!

Step 1

To start, measure the cabinet with the ribbon, then cut it. (Cut more ribbons if you’re doing multiple cabinets.) If you need the ribbon to be longer, just staple multiples together. Now, attach the longer ribbon first horizontally on the cabinet, then attach the vertical one. Secure them by stapling them on the back of the cabinet.

Step 2

You can slide them up and down to achieve a balanced look and to get them in the correct height. Repeat these steps for the rest of the cabinets. Once you’re done, attach each bow wreath to the very top of the cross where the two ribbons met. Your DIY ribbon present cabinets are now done!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
