DIY Reversible Owl And Penguin Sock Plush

This reversible owl and penguin sock plush by Maqaroon on YouTube is a cute budget gift idea that is made into one toy. I love how this project is easy to follow along with and you can make other animals if you do not want to make an owl or penguin. There’s no pattern template to follow along with or involved, and it’s a freestyle DIY and project. This would be a gift idea to give to a baby as a Christmas gift or baby shower. I love how this plush toy is made out of fluffy socks, and it would be safe to give to any child.
Supplies:
- different color fluffy socks
- Polyester stuffing
- water bottle
- hot glue gun
- needle and thread
- scissors
- black beads
- Q-tips
- blush
- paintbrush
- needle felt (for the noses)
- pastel colors (scrape off the for pastel dust)
Directions:
First, take the sock you are using for the penguin, turn it inside out, and trim off any extra bits if needed. Then, take a water bottle and pull the sock to cover it fully. This stretches off the fabric and prevents anything from accidentally sticking to itself. Use the polyester stuffing, and pull out small pieces as the size of an egg. Apply hot glue on the sock and attach the stuffing.
