DIY Reusable Tortilla Warmer Tutorial

Materials:

• 2 – 11″ circles 100% of patterned cotton outer fabric
• 2 – 11″ circles of 100% plain cotton lining fabric
• 2 – 11″ circles of 100% cotton insulation
• 100% cotton thread
• pins
• scissors

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut the fabric requirements accordingly and set them aside. Now, lay the cotton batting circle and the outer fabric circle, right sides together, with the cotton insulation sandwiched in between. Next, pin halfway around the circle, then sew halfway around, removing the pins along the way. Once done sewing, cut notches in the seam allowance, then turn the project right side out. Press it afterward.

Step 2

Repeat the steps above to create another one, then place these right sides together. Line up the raw edges and pin to secure. Sew this part, then cut notches in the seam allowance. Turn the project right side out, then press. Place tortillas inside then put them in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. Now, your tortilla wraps will stay warm throughout the night.
