Materials:

  • mesh fruit bag (or tulle fabric)
  • 2 pcs. of 4 1/2″ x 6″ cotton fabric
  • 2 – 4 pcs of 4 1/2″ x 6″ cotton batting
  • sharp scissors
  • straight pins

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut two 4 1/2″ x 6″ pieces of fruit bag mesh, put them together, then place one 4 1/2″ x 6″ cotton fabric underneath with the right side up, then the other one at the top with the right side down. After this, place two to four cotton batting on top. Pin these layers to keep them in place.

Step 2

Take the project in the sewing machine and sew along the edges, leaving a 3″ gap in one of the long edges. (Remove the pins as you sew.) Once done, trim down the corners, then turn it right side out. Pin the gap in place, then topstitch the project twice.
