In this tutorial, Make It and Love It will teach you the steps to create your pool noodle sprinkler. With just a few inexpensive materials, including pool noodles, a garden hose, and some basic crafting supplies, you’ll have a custom sprinkler system that’s ready to beat the heat. Whether you’re looking to add some excitement to a summer party, entertain the kids during their break, or just enjoy a cool retreat from the sun, this DIY project is the perfect solution.

Materials:

  • a pool noodle
  • scissors
  • duct tape
  • a metal stick
  • water hose

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut a small piece from your pool noodle, then cut it into four pieces. Next, insert two of these on one end and secure it tightly with duct tape, making sure there’s no opening left. After this, poke some holes in the top part of the pool noodle using the metal stick (if you want taller streams of water, only add one row of holes, two to three inches apart).

Step 2

Once done, insert the water hose on the other end of the pool noodle, then secure it with the remaining two pieces of pool noodle. Secure by wrapping some duct tape around the area. Your DIY pool noodle sprinkler is now finished!
