I am loving making these pocket prayer quilts by Estadistica Datos del Mundo. They make for perfect gifts to give to family and friends. She even shares a few Prayer Cards in the description to put into your pocket prayer quilt. I have been keeping my pocket prayer quilt in my no-sew clutch bag. You could even use some of your leftover fabric scraps to create this project.

Materials Needed For This Project:

  • Fabric 
  • Quilt Backing
  • Sewing Pins
  • Sewing Machine
  • Scissors
  • Thread
  • Cross Charms

Directions:

Step One

Cut the materials to the size expressed in the video. Cut the backing and string. 

Step Two

Sew the Pocket Prayer Quilt, attaching the front and back while they are inside out.

Step Three

Flip the book right side out, fix the corners, and iron down the material so it lays flat.

Step Four

Sew the small gap left in the fabric together. 

Step Five

Open the book, measure and mark the middle, then sew down the middle.

Iron the Pocket Prayer Quilt while it’s folded together.
